Announcement: eBay has decided to close half.com on August 31st, 2017.

The mitad Buyz app is developed exclusively for half.com users, by half.com users. Many of us still prefer to use half.com for buying our favorite physical media at great prices; such as books, textbooks, movies, music, or even video games. But alas, half.com is only available as a desktop website experience.

It can be a challenge to use that half.com desktop website to browse and find items to buy on a mobile device with a smaller screen. But not anymore!

Now with mitad Buyz, you can quickly find the books, textbooks, movies, music, or video games you are looking for either by scanning UPC and ISBN barcodes, or by just entering frequently used keywords directly on your mobile device! You can use the half.com desktop website search syntax you are familiar with too. Finally a native app that helps you find what you are looking for fast!

With mitad Buyz you have a mobile media search companion app to make your half.com shopping experience much easier. After you have made your purchase selections, the mitad Buyz app will then securely transfer your selections directly into the half.com desktop website shopping cart. Once there you can complete your purchase during checkout as usual. Your personal information stays with the eBay servers, as it should. You only login to the half.com website within a Safari browser view.

To checkout and make a purchase from half.com, you will need to already have an eBay account setup for use at half.com and enter those credentials at checkout. If you do not have an eBay account, you will need to register for a free one at half.com before you can save your transferred selections, or be able to complete checkout.

Permissions Requested:
The mitad Buyz app will ask you for permission to access the rear facing auto-focus camera, as this is required to scan UPC and ISBN barcodes. You will be asked for permission to receive push notifications to inform you of coupons and sales at half.com. And your permission will be requested to share problem reports and to share anonymous usage analytics with us to improve the app.
